Program runs from mid November through late February vacation. Times may vary slightly by grade. Teams will be established after the registration period is completed. Teams typically practice once a week. Practice schedules will be communicated via email. Practice dates and times will not be available until after the registration is complete. Due to the need to offer flexibility to volunteer coaches, schedules are not expected to be finalized until late November. For general planning puroses, weekday events are expected to start no earlier than 5 p.m. Grades 1 through 6  will play games on Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at a school in Southborough. Grades 7 and 8 will play between 2 and 6 p.m. on Saturdays at Algonquin High School.

This Years Format:

Children in all grades are expected to play versus Southborough teams except girls in grades 7 and 8. SYBA is no longer associated with the town of Westborough for play in grades 4 through 6, but is exploring opportunities with other towns. Grade levels may be combined based on registration numbers or other factors. Grades 7 and 8 play as a group. Boys play in town and girls travel to nearby towns such as Northboro and Framingham.

All kids of all skill levels are encouraged to learn the game, have fun and socialize with friends. All children play an equal amount in games and practices.
